Mr. Venugopal N. Dhoot, 58 years, is an Independent Director on our Board since December 20, 2007. Mr. Venugopal N. Dhoot is an engineering graduate from Pune University. He is one of the Promoters of Videocon group of companies with diverse interests in the fields of consumer electronics and home appliances, oil and gas, power and telecommunications. He was associated with Videocon group for over 30 years. He was the President of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry in India and an Advisor to the Government of Orissa on issues of industrial development in Orissa. He currently also holds the designation of the President of the Electronics Industries Association of Marathwada.
